The GPS Tracking Groupie Guide Is Here

Published: 2:55 PM Jan 13th

This is a big day for our GPS tracking group. It feels like we have finally become official after so many chats in forums and other odd haunts. Having a place to call our own is going to be something pretty special. We can talk all we want about those things that we always did without having to worry about high jacking a forum or a blog post.

Here are just a few of the things that I think we are going to be able to talk about freely here:

  • What type of GPS tracking device we own. (I already started a discussion about this: Do you currently own a GPS tracking device?)
  • Post pictures of devices that we are interested in buying
  • Post pictures with the GPS coordinates of the location that we took the picture
  • Set out on our own little geocaching adventures. Heck, we might even be able to get our own little collection of caches listed locally on this group website
  • Talk about different opinions concerning the use of GPS tracking technology. It is okay, for example, for a spouse to track their spouse? Or parents to track their children? Or children to track their parents?
  • And much more!

I also like having our own space because it is going to be much easier for use to schedule events. Groupieguide.com is very simple to use and makes it very easy to set up an event. I sure hope we get some good mileage out of this feature. I also want to draw your attention to our first event. Be there or be square!

So thank you to all the people who have made this group a possibility. We could not have done it without you!

Griz – Thank you so much for all your long, rambling blog posts about what it takes to get a group off the ground. It has taken me a long time – too long if you ask me – to try out your tactics and I am crossing my fingers that this whole group think gets off the ground and we can help lots of people trying to find information about GPS tracking from other people who have a little bit of experience. Keep writing those long posts chalked full of useful information and random tidbits of content.

Court – Thank you for helping me understand things about site size and networking that I would never have been able to come up with on my own through experience. I am a little upset with you that you have chosen to charge me for the privileged and will soon be unsubscribing from your service since I no longer find it helpful or useful. I wish you would have helped me for free, but I have to admit that a lot of what I am today in terms of setting up online GPS tracking communities like this I owe completely to you and your programs. I might be doing better today if I had never met you and just met Grizz, but you have still helped me and I am thankful.

Steward – What a great help you have been to me over these past 24 months. Never before would I have dreamed of doing what I do now 24 months ago. You have been there the whole time helping me grow and pushing me to be a better man.

I can hardly believe our little GPS tracking group is here. Come in and join the fun!
